The Library & Information Center of the College of Food Technology, CAU, Imphal, has a total collection of 1573 books including Handbooks, Textbooks and non-book materials such as CD ROM, Reports, etc. It has access to several electronic resources like e-journals, e-books, subject databases through CeRA (Consortium for e-resources in Agriculture) and ONOS (One Nation One Subscription) which can be accessed on the College IP. The Library also has access to a good collection of e-books from well-known publishers such as Cambridge University Press, Wiley Online Library, Centre for Agriculture & Biosciences International (CABI) subscribed by the Central Agricultural University, Imphal on the college IP. The Library is wi-fi enabled with good speed of connectivity for the users. For security purposes, library is under CCTV surveillance. To prepare the students for competitive examinations, the library subscribes to popular competitive magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, CSR, etc. Reference services and orientation are provided as per need on how to access to CeRA and other various open access e-resources like the National Digital Library, Krishikosh Repository (Institutional repository in Agriculture & Allied Sciences), Shodhganga (Reservoir of Indian theses & dissertations), etc. Library Instruction Sessions are being held weekly for the students. The Library Reading Room is being kept open 24x7 for the students.
